[ He makes a noise in the back of his throat, vaguely approving. He's been handled before, doubtless will be again: doesn't mean he has to like it. ] Alright. Building's about thirty by thirty, cells inside—three of 'em—are six by six. From here I'd say ten hours to the northeast beach, straight shot east. There's a river to the west, but I ain't had the pleasure. [ Yet. ]

Follow the coast to the north of here, there's a plane husk out in the water. Cockpit, pretty fucking old. That senator, lady she was talking to about the trail markers, they might could tell you more.
[Nice to feel she has nothing to prove, and nothing needs to be proven to her. She wonders when that will change; it always does.]
'Here' being your bunker? It's a good start. Two bunkers, a crashed plane, and the airfield. If we can figure out where they are in relation to each other, it's a good step forward.

By the southwestern shore. A little ways north is a river with a fishing weir-- our people made it-- and SOS drawn into the sand. I haven't found who made that yet. Then, another river, and no ford. I'm travelling upstream to see if I can find its source, or a place to cross.
I could do more elsewhere. They have a scientist at the airfield-- they have things handled. It would be a good base, especially to send anyone injured, but we have to establish paths to it, which requires a map.
Did you know déjà vu is caused by the brain forming memories incorrectly? What can seem like a meaningful connection, some kind of echo, is really just a malfunctioning synapse.
I have theories, but they only apply to me. I guess I need more data.
